ROYAL BUYING GROUP HONORS BOYD COFFEE COMPANY
WITH VENDOR AWARD

Portland, Ore – Royal Buying Group, a national organization dedicated to maximizing convenience-store sales and profitability, honored Boyd Coffee Company with its Direct Store Delivered Vendor of the Year Award this month.
Vickie Grimes, Convenience Store Channel Manager for Boyd Coffee Company, accepted the award at Royal Buying Group’s annual program kick-off reception held Thurs., Feb. 15, 2007, in Oak Brook, Ill.
According to Sharon Porter, Director of Business Development for Royal Buying Group, “Starting in November 2005, Boyd Coffee Company partnered with RBG to provide a specially designed, all-encompassing coffee program. By providing the complete ‘coffee house’ offering of layout design, equipment, service, signage and image graphics, new product introductions, promotional calendar, best-class pricing and a rebate program, Boyd Coffee Company has proven their commitment to being a true coffee partner to RBG’s retailers.”
Grimes added, “We were selected as RBG’s primary coffee purveyor in 2005, and new members have been joining our program each month. RBG has more than 5,000 members so the opportunity for Boyd Coffee Company is tremendous.”
